Active carbon filters
Active carbon filters are intended to purify liquids of odours, tastes, undesired coloration, as well as of diverse impurities suspended in the liquid.
They are most of the time used with the interposition of a pre-filter, and can optionally be completed with the addition of a post-filter. They are often utilized in the pharmaceutical and agri-food industries. Active carbon filters are available in various versions such as filter plates, filter modules or filter candles. These are also available in bulk. This type of filter works with a relatively weak flow to maximize the contact of the liquid with the active carbon.
